The McDowell Creek Tourism Association promotes tourism centered on the history, heritage, and natural beauty of the Flint Hills. Ranching heritage, outdoor experiences, the rare tall grass prairie ecosystem, settler history, Native American history, the arts and crafts of local residents--all are magnets that draw people to the area. The McDowell Creek Tourism Association works to preserve and promote these attractions. Through this web site, the McDowell Creek Tourism Association seeks to inform the public of the attractions available in the McDowell Creek area of the Flint Hills.
