Flint Hills Prairie Bison Reserve
Return
to the days when all was shared by all; return to a time when TaTanka (the
Bison) is thanked for his abundant blessings, when honor and respect for
this sacred provider still are the law of the Great Spirit, and when Prairie
Chickens boom and dance on their leks, while bison calves rest with new
moms.
The Flint Hills Prairie is where Big Bluestem grass blows gently in the
wind, where Canada Geese fly by moonlight, and where a bison might sniff
your hand as we become part of the herd, part of the family. Come feel
the life force of an endangered eco-system. Come feel the sacred medicine
of the Great Spirit at the Flint Hills Prairie Bison Reserve.
